Are you resolving to finally lose that unwanted weight in 2015? Don't wait until January 2015 to begin. Start now to jumpstart your new year's resolution. It serves two purposes:
- It gets you mentally ready to prepare for your weight loss journey.
- It works. You WILL lose weight. Bonus!
Here's How To Do It
Enjoy both lunch and dinner but leave two substantial bites on your plate during those last two meals of the day. Don't leave baby bites. Leave two solid, full-fork bites.
Simple is that. The thing is, this works.
Now, if you're eating spinach and broccoli for lunch and dinner, that's a different story. But if you enjoy a sandwich and chips for lunch and pasta, steak or some other big meal for dinner, this tip is for you.
A Few Calories Here & There Add Up To Serious Weight Loss
Those little caloric savings add up. If you do this every day, you will shave about 36,000 calories over the course of the year. That's 10 pounds, friends. Without even trying! If you do it only five days a week, you will lose about seven and a half pounds in a year.

Me? I want bikini abs. That's all. A stomach that won't embarrass me while wearing a bikini. That's my goal. I'd love to hear yours.
As a gal who has always been a runner/lifter o'weights, my goals have changed over the years. In my younger days it was about aesthetics, now it's about moving strongly through life. I just wanna keep moving and being able to kick ass while doing it!
ReplyDeletePatti, that is so true! I'm right there with ya, sister....but I do want to rock that bikini. :)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter graduates from high school next year - I want to be proud to be in the pictures....not trying to avoid the camera.
ReplyDeletePenni, I love that . You WILL do it.
DeleteThis was just what I needed to hear - thanks for sharing your story! 2015 is the year, I'm telling ya! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou can TOTALLY do this Tamara! I'm with ya, not against ya.
DeleteThis is great. It's not a lot but the fact that you're okay leaving food on the plate can actually change the way you think about food and overeating. I'm going to try this. I love it.
ReplyDeleteIt's a tiny change that can make a big difference. If leaving food is an issue for you, save the rest for leftovers or ask for a doggie bag. I love getting 2 meals for the price of 1. :)
